Jonathan - As part of the leadership team and being in charge of operations, my main focus is making sure that the mission runs smoothly day-to-day. From maintaining the four historical buildings in the city centre to managing finances, I ensure that the hundreds of students and staff members that come through YWAM each year are equipped with what they need to succeed in their ministry. However, my passion for evangelism keeps me active in the field as well. Once a week I join a team for street evanglism in the heart of Amsterdam where we have the opportunity to share the Gospel with people from all walks of life. Whether with a tourist, a local, or someone searching for meaning, every encounter is an opportunity to share the hope of Christ.

Lucy - I am invested in supporting the staff with my work in Staff Journey. At the heart of our mission with Youth with a Mission (YWAM) is the passion to see not just students transformed, but also the young staff who guide them. These staff members are the lifeblood of our community- pouring their time, energy, and hearts into discipling the next generation of believers. But to be effective, they need more than just a heart for the mission. They need to be well prepared, trained, and empowered to lead others into deeper relationship with Jesus. My passion for discipleship goes beyond equipping others - once a week I serve in a neighborhood kitchen in a predominantly Muslim area of Amsterdam, offering free meals and engaging in meaningful conversations with locals. This ministry has opened doors for sharing the love of Christ in simple but impactful ways.
